Life is a struggle. “We live in deeds and not in years.” If we rest, we rust. If we work, we shine like jewels. Adventures are the essence of life but action also entails contemplation. Proper action needs the proper initiative.

Napoleon took the wrong initiative and brought the downfall of France. Proper action is always taken by the wise persons. The wise person always foreshadow the hardships for executing a policy.

They become passive when they forecaste that their efforts are at stake. All great leaders and diplomates take the steps-keeping in view their reputation.

We should strike when the iron is hot. Some persons take the steps haphazardly with the result that they lose the opportunity and thus they are treated as fools. Angels are wise people are very particular about their actions. It was been the aim of all philosophers to understand the world. After understanding, they move very gradually and not like fools who plung into the situation without contemplation.

It was a rare occasion for ten students of this school to participate in the National Exhibition on Environment Protection held at IIT, Powai, Mumbai. About two hundred students from various parts of India took part in it. Many voluntary organizations and distinguished environmentalists also participated in it. The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra inaugurated the exhibition. The leading themes of the exhibition were the protection of our forest wealth; keeping our rivers and lakes pollution free; the hazards of air and sound pollution. The biggest draw of the exhibition was the section on the Himalayas. The exhibition evoked a spontaneous response among the local people especially, the students.

Using the information in the output, given below along with your own details, write a report in about 200 words. on ‘A Devastating Fire’ for your newspaper. Central Market-A sensitive zone godowns, shops and stores- plastic goods-short circuit-whole area engulfed by flames, people pouring water buckets-fire brigade, reached late-struggled through narrow lanes. Fire man real heroes- no loss of human life-loss of property in crores.

When I first visited Gandhi in 1942 at his Ashram in Sevagram, in central India, he said, “I will tell you how it happened that I decided to urge the departure of the British, it was in 1917.

He had gone to the December 1916 annual convention of the Indian National Congress party in Lucknow. There were 2,301 delegates and many visitors. During the proceedings, Gandhi recounted, “a peasant came up to me looking like any other peasant in India, poor and emaciated, and said, ‘I am Rajkumar Shukla.
